Wow! The Missing Ingredient In Fitness Marketing

I’ve not been online as much as normal this last week as I’ve been busy building up my 30lbs in 30 days group.

They started Monday and already the average participant has lost 3.5lbs with one losing 5.5lbs and most have lost between 1 and 2.5 inches from their waists.

This is online.

Since Monday!

Now, I’m over the moon with these early results as you can imagine, but what’s truly amazing is that for every 1 person I selected for this trial program, there are 13 people waiting in the wings BEGGING me to let them in.

I mean it, they’re emailing me daily saying ‘pick me, pick me!’ and ‘when is this going on sale? I want it!’

Why is that, do you think?

Why are some people struggling to get leads and I’ve got all the leads I want asking ME to sell them a place on my program?

Well, for a start, I’m bloody good at what I do. I know I am. I SHOULD be too, for what I charge, right?

But then, so are you guys. You’re all great at what you do too.

So there has to be something else, right?

…Wow!

I think it’s that some people write ads, some people do marketing, but some people WOW their readers. They wow them so much that they’ll beg for what’s being offered.

Even with no sales page.

No marketing materials.

No ‘buy now’ buttons.

(Think about it; you guys buy stuff from me all the time even though I don’t often send you to a sales page, I just talk about something I’m doing and a bunch of hands shoot up and people want to give me money)

It’s the wow at work!

But what IS the wow?

It’s that feeling you generate in a person that literally has them saying ‘Wow, I want THAT!!’

It’s talking to them in the language of what they want. What they really, really want (I sound like a Spic Girl!) and telling them how they can get it.

Most ads, most marketing doesn’t do that.

It talks features, benefit, bonuses, urgency, ‘buy now’ but very little in-your-face WOW! goes into any of it.

My 30lb in 30 days creates WOW! It talks to people who want bloody serious results NOW!

It asks for people to QUALIFY for a place by applying.

It hand picks the participants and rejects literally hundreds of people who really, really want in.

THEN it gives those who are selected IMMEDIATE results… just as promised!

It hits the WOW buttons in every way possible in the prospects minds. Even more so as I’m blogging the results of the chosen ones to those who didn’t get a place. They’re seeing others get the results I promised they would.

Who do you think will be the first in line when the program goes on sale?

So, what’s the takeaway from this?

Simple!

Make bigger promises.

Stretch the limits of your skills.

Test yourself, scare yourself.

Think of offerings that make your prospect sit up, take notice and say ‘Wow!’

Look, there are too many competing messages out there for you to ignore this. People are attracted to wow, they like wow, they want wow.

GIVE THEM WOW!

But how? : )
